I am a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where I completed my Masters in Social Work in 2018. That same year I participated in the LEND training program and earned a graduate certificate in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. I have a Bachelors of Science in Sociology from Fitchburg State University. In 2022 I was trained as an educational surrogate by the state of NH. I have over 10 years of experience navigating the special education system and advocating for children. I founded Heal Together Counseling in 2021 to help address the mental health needs of children in NH. I enjoy utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatments throughout my work to help my clients reach their goals and experience success in a variety of ways.
I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. I have a strong background in neurodevelopmental disabilities, special education and the foster care system. In 2018, I had the honor of meeting with New Hampshire's elected officials in Washington D.C. to advocate for continued access to Medicaid for New Hampshire's vulnerable children through the LEND program. I have worked across the state to improve care for our military, veterans and their families. I perform military culture trainings throughout the state of New Hampshire and was the lead speaker at the Governor's Conference for Military Supports in 2017. In 2018, I worked with the State of New Hampshire to develop a toolkit for school personnel to support identified students from military homes.
In addition to being a social worker, I am a mother, military spouse and avid dog lover! I enjoy spending time outside, doing home improvement projects and working in my craft room. Music is my outlet; if you catch me in the car don't be surprised if you hear me singing along to my favorite country songs!
